The Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), chartered in 1968, is a state branch of the American Association (ACA). LCA encompasses a broad spectrum of groups in the field of professional counseling and provides an opportunity for sharing and professional growth. The Louisiana Counseling Association represents LPCs, LMFTs, school counselors, college counselors, college educators, substance abuse counselors, career counselors, multicultural counselors, and religious counselors.

The Louisiana Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (LACES) board is pleased to announce a call for proposals for continuing education webinars. Presentations are usually one hour on the first Friday of the month.

The LACES board is currently accepting proposals for sessions on topics that relate to assessment, diagnosis in supervision, teaching strategies for counselor ed programs, developing and writing concept and research articles, preparation for new supervisors or faculty, and contemporary, creative ideas in either supervision or counselor education. Specific dates will be assigned once proposals have been accepted.

The sessions are 60-minute sessions that will also be recorded for participants who are unable to attend the live presentation. The length of the program includes time for questions and discussion.
