Willis Knighton hospitals and most clinics will return to normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 28, though some may have delayed openings. Several locations will remain closed due to building issues or parking lot safety concerns. Employees should check with their supervisors before reporting to work.
Because the safety of our patients and employees is a major concern, Willis Knighton has engaged contractors to clear entrances and select parking lots throughout the storm to ensure safer access. However, overnight freezing of melting ice will continue to make surfaces slick in the morning, even if they were previously clear or dry. All who visit one of our locations should be extra careful when walking into the buildings.
Patients at South and Pierremont are encouraged to use the parking garages and covered entrances to enter buildings safely. Patients arriving early for surgery or a procedure can call the hospital for security assistance if concerned about safely getting into the building.
