Teal Garden Nutrition is a 100% plant-based vegan culinary nutrition service based in Shreveport, Louisiana, founded and led by Vegan Chef and Herbal Culinary Nutritionist Linda J. Montgomery. Blending the principles of herbalism, nutrition science, and the culinary arts, Teal Garden Nutrition empowers individuals to heal through food while nurturing mind, body, and spirit. Our mission is rooted in plant based food accessibility, nutrition education, and "health is wealth" empowerment. We do this by applying a blend of herbalism, nutrition and culinary arts concepts in a range of nutrition services including nutrition assessments, plant based meal planning and preparation, catering and wellness-centered event hosting that helps clients create and maintain sustainable, healthful lifestyles in and around the Shreveport-Bossier area.
Since 2024, we’ve served as a dedicated vegan food vendor—trailblazing our mission to make plant-based, healing culinary nutrition accessible in Shreveport. In 2025, we have accomplished many 1sts in the area. As the first-ever host of Shreveport’s vegan fest, Vegan Community Cookout Shreveport and the first ever vegan food vendor at the Red River Revel, Teal Garden Nutrition has established itself as a local pioneer in plant-based vegan food community reaching Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, and East Texas. With deep gratitude for our supporters and community, we continue to serve as a beacon of wellness and mindfulness. We are invested in quality vegan food and plant based nutrition.
