Be sure and don’t forget your elderly neighbors. The weather is looking to be below freezing for several days. Make sure they don’t need help covering their faucets, getting food, bringing plants in etc. Check on them during any power outages also, it’s up to us to keep them safe when they can no longer do it themselves ❤️

Shreveport Police are searching for a woman who went missing overnight is southeast Shreveport. 90-year-old Velma Moore was last seen around 11:30 p.m., on August 30, 2020 in the 400 block of Colorado, which is in the Greenbrook neighborhood. Moore is described as a black female, 5’5” tall, and 100 pounds, with white and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with red writing on the front and gray capri pants. Ms. Moore is not wearing shoes.

Ms. Moore suffers from dementia and is partially blind. If you see Ms. Moore please call 318-673-7020 or 318-673-7300 option #3 immediately. We have Shreveport Fire Department k9 search teams on the way.

Spending a fun filled day with seniors experiencing memory loss. The day consists of activities that make them happy. Playing games, painting, trivia, and lots of great conversations are just a few things that take place daily! Come be part of giving our seniors the best life we can during the weekdays spent with us. Must love working with the elderly, be a good listener and love to talk!! Creative abilities are a plus because it’s wonderful to have someone keeping them engaged and busy. Must be a self starter and have good work ethics. Looking for a long term employee that takes their work seriously. Our seniors are our family and they count on us to provide exceptional care.
