Dr. Peyton Cunningham Prosthodontics

We are going to miss Dr. Peyton Cunningham not only in the dental world but as a boss and work family. He gained his wings on Tuesday after battling cancer.

He never minded teaching us all about dentistry. We supported one another through all of the good times and bad. We learned from each other about life and would have long talks about things we could’ve done differently and things that we got right.

He was perfectionist in the dental field and would send something back to the lab if it was just a tiny bit off. He loved transforming smiles but even more he loved his patients. He developed friendships with them and would talk to them before starting to work on them. Of course, this would cause us to run behind. I would have to walk by the room and tap my watch.

He loved to talk about his kids,Alexandra and Michael, fishing, and hunting. Alexandra and Michael just know that you were his world and wanted the best for you and loved you so much.

Work family just know that he thought the world of each and everyone of you. He appreciated your time and patience while working on patents. Thank you for supporting him.

Arrangements
Services will be Tuesday the 12th. 9-12 at Blanchard St Denis funeral home in Natchitoches. 12pm Mass at the Basilica and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donate to Pilots for Patients.

I locked the doors for the last time today. I packed up the last of my belongings at the place I called my work home for the last 18 years, I have so many memories with patients and my work family. I know that God played a role in me going to work with Dr. Cunningham. I am so thankful for him and the women that have played a part in my life. I know that chapters close and other doors open and I hate to see this one go. I’m not sure what God has planned for my work future but I do know that’s it all in his timing. Dr. Peyton, thank you for believing in me and allowing me to do my thing. We have been through many changes in our lives. You were the best prosthodontist and could work your magic on so many patients. You will be missed in the dental world for sure. Enjoy your retirement. Maggie, I am so thankful for you and the friend that you have become. You have impacted my life more than you’ll ever know. We have stood by each other and had each others back. Thank you. Meri, I loved working with you and there was never a dull moment. Thank you for playing a roll in getting me hired. Bailee, my mini me, I see so much of myself in you. I admire you for your determination and I see you going places in your life. You were always there to lend a helping hand where needed. Thank you for being a part of the clinic staff. Christina, you always went above and beyond and enjoyed working with you as well. We hated to lose you!!! Lauran, you were like a daughter to me. Stay true to yourself because I know what you are capable of. Kristin, thank you for going above and beyond as well. It was pleasure into getting to know you. Good luck on your next chapter. Paige, never did I think that we would work as mother daughter work team. I am so thankful of the lady you have become. Love you.
Casey, Casey, Mindi, Bridget, Kimberly, Jennifer it was pleasure working with all of you ladies over the years. We have all laughed and enjoyed our work family. Thank you for playing an important role in taking care of patients oral hygiene. I am sorry if I missed anyone. To our patients, y’all were the best. We were all like family and we thank you for playing a role in our success. Y’all made our job easy and we are going to miss each and everyone of you. Thanks for the last 18 years.

1. Prior Dental front office required

2. Proficient in Carestream Softdent Software

3. Professional

4. Ability to multi-task

5. Excellent customer service skills

6. Needs to be detailed orientated and organized

Responsibilities:

1. Answering phone

2. Greet and check in all patients

3. Update patient information and health history

4. Coordinate appointments with other doctors

5. Post all payment and insurance payments

6. Scan all documents pertaining to patients

7. File insurance and predetermination for patients

8. Assist in back when needed

Office Hours: Monday-Thursday and possible half days on Fridays

Monday-Wednesday 8-4pm

Thursday 8-3:30

A patient wanted me to post this for her on our page.

Dr. Cunningham and staff are just like family. I went into their office with my head low from lack of self esteem. The dental staff *family* has given a new outlook on life! Just like many people their self esteem is thru their smile! Along with esthetics Dr Cunningham has provided necessary support for my bilateral total joint replacements.
