As promised!! I wanted to share the easiest and our favorite way to cook home harvested venison!
Have that man bring you a whole shoulder! (You have to aim just behind, quartered away! IYKYK)
Put it in the pan, cover it with onions, garlic, salt, pepper, Tony’s, bone broth, and cream of mushroom soup.. wrap tight with foil, cook at 225 degrees all day (like 8am-6pm) .. and you will have the most tender and most delicious roast that you can imagine! That’s IT!
Prep it the night before to make your morning easy!
When you get home from work, toss in taters, mushrooms and carrots - they’ll be scrumptious by supper!
This will feed our family ALL WEEK! Night 1 we have it over rice, then I’ll shred it like a brisket and have brisket tacos another night, chopped venison sandwiches w BBQ sauce another, venison stew with pearled cous cous another, gyro’s another night! .. etc. this is what we call “meal multiplication”!! Cook once.. eat good all week!! This is a busy mom trick to feed her family good nutrition the easy way .. without repeating dinners!!
I love that we can feed our family lean, organic, free range and unstressed meat. So proud of our boys for providing!! (Kat and I will get one next time!!! 😂
