Majestic Health and Wellness LLC SPEAKER, EDUCATOR, MENTORING, AND MORE I am a wife, mother, Christian, and Nurse Practitioner living life and loving every moment.

I am a Shreveport native with one amazing husband, two beautiful daughters, and a handsome grandson. I genuinely have a passion for helping others. I am an advocate for faith, family, and wellness. My nursing experience includes obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, primary care, mental health, and addiction. One of her most significant rewards as a pediatric nurse was watching her babies grow into amazing adults! I have a passion for teaching and serve as adjunct nursing faculty at Grambling State University and mentor teenage girls aged 9-18 and nursing students. Community services allow me to be dedicated to leveling the playing field for all. Raising awareness of health disparities and inspiring others to reach their dreams, no matter where they come from. I strongly believe we must work together and foster a sense of hope, courage, and growth one community service event at a time. I am a firm believer and living proof of the power of "if you want it, you can achieve it!" My goal is to continue to help others reach their highest potential through mental, physical, and emotional empowerment!

March is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of Cerebral Palsy, a neurological condition that affects movement, muscle tone, and posture.

A few important facts:

• Cerebral palsy is the most common motor disability in childhood.
• It is caused by damage or abnormal development of the brain, often before or during birth.
• CP affects about 1 in 345 children in the United States.
• Symptoms vary, but may include muscle stiffness, difficulty with coordination, and challenges with movement or balance.
• While there is no cure, therapies, early intervention, and supportive care help individuals live full and meaningful lives.

This month we honor the strength, resilience, and uniqueness of individuals living with cerebral palsy and the families and caregivers who support them every day.

Awareness leads to understanding.
Understanding leads to inclusion.
Inclusion leads to a stronger community.
