🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness: Know the Signs, Save Your Life

Early detection saves lives — including yours.
Don’t ignore the signs. Listen to your body.

Here’s what to watch for ⬇️

💗 A new lump or thickened area in the breast or underarm
💗 Change in breast size, shape, or appearance
💗 Dimpling or puckering of the skin (like an orange peel)
💗 Ni**le changes — turning inward, discharge (especially bloody), or pain
💗 Redness, swelling, or warmth of the breast
💗 Persistent pain in one area that doesn’t go away

🚨 These changes don’t always mean cancer, but they do mean it’s time to see your healthcare provider.

✨ Get screened. Know your risk. Protect your health.
You can’t pour from an empty cup — take care of you.

🩸 Let’s Talk About Menopause & Period Changes – from NP-K 💜

Sis, if your period has started acting brand new — the color looks different, the flow feels off, or it’s skipping months — don’t panic. Your body may be transitioning through perimenopause, the stage leading up to menopause.

🔄 What’s Happening
Hormones like estrogen and progesterone rise and fall unevenly, which can make your period heavier, lighter, or irregular.

🎨 What You Might Notice
• Bright red or pink: lighter flow from lower estrogen.
• Dark red or brown: older blood taking longer to leave.
• Rust or grayish: could be hormonal — but check with your provider if it’s new or unusual.

⏱️ Irregular Timing
Cycles may stretch from 28 to 45 (or even 60) days — and some months may skip altogether.

🚨 When to Call Your MD
• Heavy bleeding (soaking pads hourly)
• Bleeding after 12 months with no period
• Pelvic pain, odor, or dizziness

These could signal something more than hormones, like fibroids or thyroid changes.

Menopause isn’t the end, Sis — it’s a new beginning of wisdom, peace, and power. ✨
