🧠 Now Offering FRAT® Testing at Mid City Pediatrics 🧪

At Mid City Pediatrics, we’re always looking for ways to better support your child’s development. We now offer FRAT® testing (Folate Receptor Autoantibody Test)—a specialized blood test that may help uncover an often-missed cause of developmental concerns like autism, speech delays, seizures, and more.

This test identifies antibodies that may block folate from reaching the brain—even if blood folate levels are normal. When this happens, it can lead to cerebral folate deficiency, a condition linked to neurologic and developmental challenges.
