Did you know that 1 in 8 women develops breast cancer in her lifetime? According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, an estimated 287,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women as well as 51,400 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. This year, Medic Pharmacy Services wants all women aged 40 and over to RISE (Rally In Screening Everyone). Screening mammography is one of the main ways to reduce breast cancer by detecting signs early on.
