We’re seeking a Health Information Agent to join our team in Shreveport.
General Summary of Duties:

Operate the phone system for the practice, provide routine information, and direct calls to the appropriate area. This position involves direct contact with patients and the public in an office environment. Candidates should be able to work well under occasional pressure due to call volume and inquiries.

Duties include:
▪Channel all incoming calls
▪Take messages and process appropriately
▪Communicate general clinic information
▪Organize and handle phone system material
▪Use paging system
▪Verify patient status on computer
▪Data entry into EMR
▪Attend required meetings and participate in committees
▪Maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:
▪Minimum six months of telephone operator experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
▪Knowledge of medical terminology
▪Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
▪Strong communication and organizational skills

Elite Health Solutions is seeking a Health Information Manager to join our team! This position plays a vital role in managing and protecting patient information within our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Management: Maintaining and organizing medical records—both electronic and paper-based—while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of patient data. Implementing and overseeing electronic health record systems.

Compliance & Security: Adhering to data privacy laws and regulations such as HIPAA. Protecting patient data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and developing and enforcing data security protocols.

Coding & Reimbursement: Overseeing medical coding processes, ensuring accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes, and collaborating with healthcare providers and billing staff to maximize reimbursement.

Reporting & Analysis: Generating reports on healthcare data for management and regulatory purposes, identifying trends and patterns in patient data, and assisting with research and quality improvement initiatives.

Other Responsibilities: Managing a team of medical record staff, liaising with other healthcare departments and external stakeholders, and staying up to date on industry standards and regulatory changes.
