Congratulations Lauren!!

Lauren Henderson, a Doctoral Candidate in the Kamil Lab, recently published a co-first author paper in Nature Microbiology describing the structure and function of a newly identified glycoprotein complex on the surface of the human herpesvirus, cytomegalovirus (CMV)!

CCDS faculty and postdoctoral fellows recently attended the 6th Annual Gulf Coast Vascular Research Consortium (GVRC) held at Houston Methodist Research Institute. Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Matthew Scott received an award for best Lightening Presentation.

The GVRC is a prestigious assembly that exemplifies collaboration and innovation in vascular biology and facilitates interactions among scientists, educators, clinicians, and trainees, fostering knowledge transfer and innovative partnerships.
