Thank you so much to those who have helped so far. Got electric handled and some food for two or three days. Just got to get the water and food the last to the first and I think I'll be okay really appreciate it, this year has been a nightmare with all this hospital stuff. Feels like it's about to get better, just right at the cusp. Thank you for your kindness.

I've taken over Scott's social media temporarily, because, honestly, he's been depressed and mopey and scared and he needs his friends to rescue him out of all that and help him get back to his happy fun totally NON-Mopey self again. I'm his friend, so are you. I need your help to help me help him, please.

I asked his permission to use his own account and he shrugged and said fine before going back to his daze, just like he did with me setting up this GoFundMe for him. Guys, he's not doing so great right now. I really need your help....

So here's what's up:

Since Scott had his MRSA infection and foot amputation surgery and that month in the hospital and then another week and then ANOTHER week and ANOTHER part of his foot cut off, y'all he just hasn't been doing so great. I've been doing a GoFundMe for him , and it was helpful at first, but things have gotten real tough lately and I'm trying to find other friends of his who care about him who can help me get the word out, help me pass this around to see if we can get it in front of the right people that can help.

I need help from Scott's other friends to help Scott. Y'all, he's in over his head and just feels stuck and depressed all the time. Cries a lot. Wants so bad to get back on his consulting work finally but just keeps getting knocked down by these awful infections from the diabetes and all that. He's just so frustrated and mopey all the time and drowning and In a daze most of it. Y'all can you help me bring our buddy Scott back? Please?

So here's what I need you to do for him please if you care about him like most of us do:

Join our GoFundMe fundraiser as a Team Member and help me get the word out. Please.

And anybody who feels able and led to chip in a little themselves will be so greatly appreciated, you have NO idea!

And then put that Link you get as a Fundraiser Team Member underneath your POST ( remember to hit the y a POST... Please make the POST, don't just share the link without saying something about how you know him and brought joy to your life in some way... because it's the POST with the personal connection that makes all the difference.. Diabetic wound care nutrition is not on the cheap side.

This stuff helps.

I'm out.

It is over the counter so insurance does not cover it now that I'm out of the hospital.

This amputation thing is a lot harder than I expected.

I hate asking for help, but I don't know what else to do at this point.

Anything makes a big difference.

Depressed and scared

Things not going well

Wound care doctor worried about healing on foot and I'm trying to stay off it completely but I've also got this cyst on my tailbone still that is insanely painful and I'm supposed to keep all pressure off it too or it can get infected and abscess or worse and I'm literally under doctors to not stand or walk, sit straight or lay flat.

Money gone can't afford helpers or nutrition I'm supposed to be taking. Bills overdue. Shutoff notices. I'm able to do little for myself right now and I'm in this giant state of anxious limbo where on the one hand I want to be optimistic that everything is going to open up and the work I've been at and prepping so long is about to have a breakthrough and I'll be able to and I'll be able to get that going and it will create a lot of options and put me in a much better position with the help I need to heal better and things will be more than okay...

On the other hand I feel like it can all just collapse really fast and this partial foot amputation will lead to a leg amputation just like the surgeon was concerned about and things are just going to spiral and get worse and it's really scary and really depressing and I'm stressed beyond description.

I hate this part very much but I have to ask for help. There's really no other way.

If you are able it would mean the world and might even be the difference between those two extremes. If you can help by joining the team and spreading this so maybe it can find the right people please get in touch and I'll get you the info. I am humbled to ask but at this point, until my work is able to take off and replace, I am stuck and scared and don't know what else to do in the moment.
