๐Ÿ’œ Five Years Cancer-Free. A Story of Strength, Gratitude and Giving Back.

This month, we are honored to share Cheryl Micheletโ€™s incredible journey, from her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis in 2020 to, next month, celebrating five years cancer-free and becoming a passionate advocate for others.

Cheryl endured treatment during the height of the pandemic, often attending appointments alone, but she says the nurses, doctors, and staff at Mary Bird Perkins became โ€œlike familyโ€ and gave her the strength to keep going. Today, she continues to give back through patient advocacy and support for others walking the same path.

Her story is one of hope, faith, and gratitude, and a reminder that none of us are ever truly alone in the fight against cancer.
