Did you know that sewing and handwork can improve your fine motor skills? Stitch by stitch these Tower residents enjoyed an afternoon in the Tower art studio covering old CDs with fabric and then stitching two together to create a sturdy playing card/photo holder. It's all about purposeful living!

Residents had so many questions for Baylor, whose vibrant murals around Shreveport and beyond inspire hope, foster community and celebrate heritage. Who says you ever stop learning?

What an informative program given by Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center, when park naturalists visited The Oaks for a presentation on alligators. We love their programs and over the years have learned so much about birds of prey, nocturnal birds, reptiles and more. Lifelong learning keeps residents engaged, connected to the larger community and intellectually stimulated.
