Please help us welcome Dr. Pou and Dr. Lele to the department!

Dr. Pou returns to Louisiana after completing double fellowships in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Emory and MUSC. A proud LSU and Tulane alum, he brings a wealth of experience—and a full tour of the South—to our team.

Dr. Lele joins us following extensive ENT training in both India and the U.S., including residency at LSU Shreveport and a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at UT Southwestern.

We’re excited (and lucky) to have them on board!

We are very fortunate this year to have some talented candidates running for AAO leadership: our chairwoman, Dr. Cherie-Ann Nathan, and Dr. Danny Chelius from Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr Nathan is running for president of AAO-HNS. Click the link in the bio to watch Dr. Nathan present her platform for the upcoming 2025 election 📥
Scroll to see Dr. Nathan being inducted into the AAO-HNS Hall of Distinction for her contribution as a surgeon-scientist and world leader. Not only has Dr. Nathan earned among the most prestigious awards in the field and has led other organizations, including AHNS, but she has also been a primary catalyst for her department’s strong academic and clinical performance, with residents recently earning 1st place in the trio quiz bowl 2025, and overall yearly performance on in-service test scores.
