Our Instructor Spotlight is James! 🔦✨🤩🙌🏻

James has been a staple of Bloom since the day the studio opened, and there are truly few words that can capture the magic he brings to our studio and the love he pours into every class. Each student leaves feeling seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

In a world that can sometimes feel heavy with division and noise, James consistently chooses kindness. His words uplift. His presence steadies. His supportive hands-on assists (always offered with care) make students feel safe, supported, and strong. And as for his hugs, they are unforgettable and a blessing to start any day.

When asked about his favorite style of yoga to practice, James shared, “Any of our classes at Bloom — energetic flow, heated, or Kundalini. We have the best teachers, and I always leave feeling better and inspired.”

Outside the studio, James balances his time between family and friends, art and design, travel, music, tending to his roses, eating well, and, of course, moving and breathing. All of these passions are evident when you step into one of his classes — you can feel the richness of a life lived with intention.

We are endlessly grateful for the light James brings to Bloom. His classes are the ones I personally return to again and again, for grounding, for joy, for connection. He doesn’t just teach yoga; he embodies it. If you haven’t experienced a class with James yet, consider this your invitation. It is something truly special.

Changes are coming to Bloom Book Club. Starting 2026 you will be able to sign up through MindBody and attending book club will count towards your annual Mala Member 108 goal. We will meet bi-monthly.

Moving Into Stillness Pop-Up with Dan on March 22nd from 1:00-2:15 p.m..

This thoughtfully designed practice moves from mindful motion into profound stillness.

The first portion of class features a grounding, slower-paced flow guided by breath and awareness. Expect spacious transitions, intentional holds, and a steady rhythm that encourages embodiment.

We then transition into a 15–20 minute guided Yoga Nidra — a transformative practice of conscious rest that supports integration, emotional regulation, and deep renewal.

Dan will begin with a brief overview of Yoga Nidra and the purpose behind this experience. With 200-hour RYT certification and over 50 hours of specialized Yoga Nidra training, he brings depth and clarity to this offering.

Our YoGi Of ThE mOnTh is Craig! 👏👏🎊🙌🏻😊

Craig has been practicing at Bloom on and off since 2019, but over the past few months, his friendly face has become a steady and welcome presence around the studio. He gravitates toward Energetic Vinyasa and Heated Flow classes, while thoughtfully balancing his practice with Yoga Sadhana and Slow Flow each month.

When asked about his favorite class, Craig didn’t hesitate: “Energetic Vinyasa with Elizabeth. I love this yoga.”

When we asked what he loves most about Bloom, his answer was simple: “The People.” And honestly, that says a lot. Craig may describe himself in few words, but his consistency, quiet focus, and grounded presence speak volumes. (And we promise — if you catch him before or after class, he does have more to say!)

Yoga has become an intentional part of Craig’s daily rhythm. When asked what benefit he’s noticed most from his practice, he shared one powerful word: “Focus.”

Fun Fact: When asked what superpower he would choose? “Patience.”

We can’t think of two better qualities to cultivate both on and off the mat.
