Our instructor spotlight is Robin! 💫✨😄
Robin may be a newer addition to Bloom, but she is certainly not new to the Shreveport/Bossier yoga community. After graduating from Ally Ford’s Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, she quickly began making a meaningful impact through her teaching and presence.
A lover of all things fitness, Robin brings a well-rounded approach to movement. Outside of Bloom, you can find her teaching strength training, spin, and yoga at Bellaire Fitness Center. And when she’s not teaching or working out, she enjoys spending time on the golf course.
When asked about her favorite style of yoga, Robin shared, “I love vinyasa yoga. It’s a moving meditation that increases mobility, strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.” Her passion for movement shines through in the way she guides her classes—thoughtful, steady, and rooted in intention.
Robin’s background in fitness, along with her experience working with veterans navigating PTSD and individuals recovering from substance abuse, brings a depth of compassion and awareness to her teaching. She has a natural ability to meet students where they are, making her classes feel both supportive and empowering—especially for those building a strong foundation in their practice.
After taking her class, it’s clear how much she genuinely enjoys helping others grow, both on and off the mat.

What brings you back to your mat: "Sometimes it is soreness from lifting weights, or when life gets hurried and difficult. Yoga slows me down physically and helps calm my monkey mind."
When in life do you feel like you bloom: "In 2006, I decided to homeschool my kids who were starting 3rd grade and kindergarten. They had a fun and unconventional early education. It was an amazing learning experience for all three of us."
What is your favorite thing about Bloom Yoga Studio: "The instant calm feel . Bloom smells so good and the exhale room is lovey."
