We recently announced the expansion of our IR and Neuro IR services to our Ochsner LSU Health - St. Mary Medical Center campus. It has been a successful launch! Today we would like to highlight our talented and dedicated team of interventional radiologists that are making it happen at both our main campus and St. Mary's. 👏👏👏

Today we celebrated our incredible IR Chief, Dr. Joe Eskew, with a birthday party in the reading room! 🥳📚

From Y90 cases and TIPS procedures to emergent embolizations in the middle of the night, Dr. Eskew leads by example — no matter what comes through the doors. 🩻💪

We’re grateful for his leadership, teaching, and the energy he brings to our department every single day. Cheers to another year of saving lives, solving cases, and keeping us all laughing between reads.
