Hannah Breithaupt is a 28 year old Shreveport, Louisiana native who was diagnosed with autism at age 2. She enjoys horseback riding & painting.

Painting is an outlet of independence and freedom from Hannah’s self-expression. She works primarily with acrylic paint and has the unique style of mixing paint directly onto the canvas. She is comfortable with her medium and enjoys painting when undisturbed. While emphasizing the practice of art-making, her focus, communication and decision-making skills have all improved significantly. “Nature and the beauty that surrounds it,” is what inspires Hannah the most.

When asked what she wants her art to tell people, she replied, “for people to improve and better understand my world.”
