Over the past 3 years, spanning the post-Covid era, I have observed a significant increase in Acute Myocardial Infarctions compared to the preceding 15 years. The extent of tissue damage in some instances is so severe that it appears their hearts are literally exploding in their chests. l would appreciate reviewing autopsy reports for some of these cases to gain further insight. We need to discuss heart health asap.

I get tired of hearing folks call any little rash or abnormality involving their skin 'eczema.' This lack of knowledge can cause you to overlook some potentially more serious issues. As a collegiate instructor, Immunology was one of my favorite subjects to teach. I remember devoting an entire lecture just to the skin and its components and functions alone because, as it pertains to the immune system, it is the first line of defense. Here is a more practical guide to enable you to better self-examine when things pop up on your skin, many of which may require follow-up and further investigation as to their origins.

Over the next 24 hours, I will be adhering to even more modest low-calorie eating than I already normally do, anticipating a more indulgent meal involving wings and beer during the Super Bowl tomorrow evening. They just rushed my brother back to the Emergency Room. Struggling to breathe even while with sufficient Oxygen assistance. COPD ain’t no joke. Its a terrifying thing struggling to breathe. Reminds me of when I had hypoxemic respiratory failure due to bi-lateral covid-19 pneumonia. They almost got me. I don’t know how long my brother has left, but eventually his lungs will lose all ability to process respiratory gases and he will die. This comes from years of smoking 🚬. Take heed if you’re a smoker.

Recently, I lost a former colleague and close acquaintance to kidney disease. Additionally, another long-time friend is now battling with lung cancer, and my older brother has been placed in a nursing facility due to complications stemming from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This follows the loss of another brother a year ago, whose death was caused by complications related to Buerger's disease, renal failure, and diabetes; then buried my Mother a short time after due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. Be advised, the increasing prevalence of various diseases is on the rise and should be concerning to all.
