Today we pause for a moment to announce that a dream of a 6 year old young man. Has now become a reality of a 33 year old black African American male in the city of Shreveport. Pastor Alexander Elie and Attorney Ruby Lewis Elie have reached a milestone in service. 1 Year ago today Choice Funeral Home started a journey. And we simply say to God be the glory. If it had not been for the Lord on our side tell us where would we be. To all that have patronized us THANK YOU. There are many other great funeral homes that you could have selected. But we simply say thanks you to all that have allowed Choice funeral home to be your professional provider. Each family, each detail we have tried our absolute best to serve you in the spirit of Excellence. To the most amazing staff,we would be absolutely nothing without you. You all have endured with us, cried with us, hung tuff with us. We thank you for believing in the vision. Every act of kindness has not gone unnoticed. Death care takes a special kind of people to handle families and decedents. Thank you for your professionalism and confidentiality. To our mentor, Mr. Andrew Kirkland, sir your advice prayers and random visits mean more then you know. When giving up was in view you always had a way to show us the bright side. Thank you for allowing us to purchase our first set of cars when the devil had it our for bad God sent you to be good. To our operations manger and mother Elie, you two handle your assignments well. Dealing with Mr. Elie is not the easiest to deal with not in a bad way, but if you know him you know he wants it done right. But when asked about you two. He simply said (I wouldn’t trade them for nothing in the world). To Mr. Faris thank you for keeping the grounds clean and making sure all first calls are handled with extreme care. To the Rogers family, our cars are now being kept in tip top shape, for show and shine because of you. To Mrs. Ruby Lewis Elie, we thank you for all you do both seen and unseen. Thank you for being more than a business owner and parter, thank you for being the wife to Mr. Choice 🤏🏾 and the mother to his children. This business has thrived because of you. We now maintain full time employees, a full staff, and are growing weekly because of your inspiration. In your words, nothing beats a failure but a try. And thank you for pushing us all to try.
To the Pastors, Preachers, Politicians, Public Officials, Family, Friends, we on today 1 year later 145 Families later we say that we are still here by the Grace of God. Humbly submitted.
