🎉 ONE YEAR! 🎉

One year ago, I took a leap of faith and opened Geaux Forth Counseling, with a dream of creating a place where people could feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in their lives.

This past year has been filled with growth, learning, and so many meaningful moments with the incredible clients who trust me with their stories. Watching people heal, grow, and rediscover their strength is the greatest reminder of why this work matters.

Starting a private practice took courage, long hours, and a lot of faith—but it has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. I’m so grateful for the support from my clients, colleagues, family, and community who have helped make this first year possible.

Here’s to 1 year of helping people geaux forth into healthier, stronger versions of themselves… and many more years to come. 💚

💙 Sick Season Reminder: Take Care of You 💙

As we move through sick season, this is your gentle reminder to slow down and prioritize your well-being—both physically and mentally.

✨ Get plenty of rest
✨ Stay hydrated and nourish your body
✨ Wash hands and disinfect shared spaces
✨ Manage stress with deep breathing, journaling, prayer, or mindfulness
✨ Listen to your body and rest when needed
✨ Give yourself permission to say no and ask for help

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Your body and mind work together, and supporting one supports the other. If you have a scheduled session and you are not feeling well, telehealth is an option!
