What a spooktacular day at The Chateau at Montclair, assisted living and memory care! Our residents and staff celebrated Halloween with laughter, creativity, and community spirit. In the days leading up to today’s party, our amazing staff decked out resident doors with imaginative decorations — from pumpkins and friendly ghosts to festive fall designs. The creativity was incredible, and both residents and families loved seeing the transformation throughout the community!
Friday’s Halloween Party was the perfect finale, complete with costumes, delicious treats, and joyful celebration. At The Chateau, we take pride in creating meaningful experiences for our memory care residents — bringing smiles, sparking memories, and honoring life’s special moments. Every event is a chance to share laughter, connection, and warmth… and today’s Halloween festivities truly captured that spirit! 🧡🎃

Montclair Park Assisted Living & Chateaus at Montclair Memory Care Center was dreamed, designed and build by David Abdehou, M.D., a board certified internal medicine specialist determined to “create a better way” for retirees to live their elder years in a warm, compassionate and secure atmosphere that fosters and encourages independence with meaningful activities.

That vision is the central focus of the dedicated on-site staff who provide comprehensive resident services including meals, transportation, activities, security, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and activities of daily living 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The staff is dedicated to motivating residents to pursue social interactions and independent lifestyles within their capabilities.

This year Dr. David Abdehou’s son, Jordan Abedehou, M.D., joined Montclair Park & The Chateaus as the administrator. “He wanted to become involved in our facility and I am excited to have Jordan work with us,” Dr. David Abdehou said. “He has already implemented a new Heath and Wellness program as well as an electronic medical record system. He is full of energy and will bring many new and exciting ideas to our facility.”
