Today we’re celebrating 17 amazing years since we first opened our doors. What started as a small vision has grown into something truly special thanks to our incredible team, dedicated patients, and supportive community.

It’s also National Physical Therapy Month, AND we’re celebrating our Co-Owner Adam Brewer’s birthday today! 🎂

We took the team to Chasing Aces to recognize all these milestones and to celebrate the people who make it all possible.

One weekend, two incredible causes. 💙
Brewer Physical Therapy was honored to support two meaningful community events this weekend:

🎯 In Shreveport, our team participated in the Gulf Coast Veterans Charity Clay Shoot, standing alongside an incredible organization that connects veterans with the healing power of the outdoors. We also brought our very own secret weapon—Abi Victoria, PT Tech and State Champion in Long Range Shooting!

🏃‍♂️ In Minden, our runners laced up for Phillip’s 5K—a heartfelt event benefiting Phillip’s Cottage, a transitional home for women with children graduating from Louisiana Teen Challenge.

Special shoutout to Dr. Gage Reed, PT for taking 1st place in his age bracket at the 5K! 🏆

We’re proud to give back to the communities that support us—and even prouder of our team who show up with purpose, passion, and heart. 💪

🎓 PT Student Takeover in New Orleans!

We had an amazing day with the 3rd-year PT students at
LSU Health New Orleans Allied Health, Department of Physical Therapy this week! Our team—Amanda, Tim, and Adam—led a real and open discussion about what students are looking for in their first job, their biggest concerns, and what makes a workplace feel like home.

We talked about:
✔️ Mentorship
✔️ Burn out
✔️ What a professsional should consider with regards to total compensation and benefits
✔️ Why Brewer PT is different—and how we’re showing up for the next generation of PTs

From mentorship to avoiding burnout… to even knowing when (and how) to move on from your first job. These students kept it honest, and we loved every second of it😉

We’re so proud of these students and grateful for their openness. The future is in great hands. 💜
