🌟 Meet Our Owner Dr. Erin Leahy Pirl, PT, DPT: Giving Back to the Community She Calls Home 🌟
⛹🏼♀️💪🏻Dr. Erin Leahy Pirl’s, PT, DPT passion for was born out of her own journey of resilience and healing. As a high school athlete at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, Erin faced two ACL injuries that required surgeries and two years of rehabilitation. Missing her final 2 basketball seasons was devastating, but the care she received during that time transformed her, sparking a desire to help others overcome the physical and emotional challenges of recovery.
📚🏥After graduating from Wake Forest University and a brief career in finance, Erin found her true calling. Drawing on her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University, Erin has spent the past 17 years honing her expertise in renowned facilities, including Children’s Specialized Hospital, Monmouth Medical Center, and Meridian Subacute Rehab. She co-founded Pearl Rehabilitation in 2020 with Dr. Marc Perdomo, PT, DPT, OCS, AVPT offering mobile physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Pearl Rehab has quickly become a trusted name in the community with over 50 employees, delivering expert care directly to patients in their homes.
💫🏢 Now, a New Chapter Begins:
Erin is bringing her vision full circle by partnering with Marc again and joining the Responsive Physical Therapy family as co-owner of the brand new Oceanport site—a state-of-the-art space in Historic Russel Hall, Fort Monmouth.
