Major Fertility news ‼️

PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome) is officially renamed to PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome).

Experts say the updated name more accurately reflects the complexity of the condition and moves away from the long-standing misconception that ovarian cysts are the main feature. The change is also intended to improve research to support earlier diagnosis and create a better understanding of the hormonal and metabolic factors involved.

This marks an important step toward a more accurate understanding of reproductive health conditions, and we’re proud to support initiatives that give women’s health the attention it deserves. 👏🏼
