Meet our PTA, Alec! 😄
Alec has been with the clinic for almost 6 years!
Alec attended Temple University for his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. From there he started working as an aide with our company for about 2 years, then returned to school at Central Penn College for his PTA degree and certification.
Hobbies: Hanging out with his dog Enzo, running, hiking, playing video games with his friends, watching and attending sporting events!
Favorite part of the body to treat: The shoulder and athletes trying to return to sport! He enjoys treating the shoulder as he has had injuries in the past with both of his shoulders when playing lacrosse.
His WHY: “I chose the career path of getting into Physical Therapy because I enjoy working with others and helping them! Building relationships with clients is one of the best parts of the job and it makes me happy to see them get back to their goals and feeling better within their daily lives.”
Favorite “new” happening in the clinic: “I am very excited about getting our running/gait analysis unit! With the unit we can see more of what is happening withing our gait sequence and running form, then use this information to further expand our treatment so we can get our clients feeling better and moving more efficiently!”
