The Power of Forgiveness

I had the honour of joining the Venusian Oasis podcast for a special 3-part bonus series on forgiveness with and this conversation is one I believe so many hearts need right now.

In this episode, I talk about something I see often in my work and in life:

“You may never receive a formal apology or a clear explanation for what happened and learning to be at peace with that is a powerful part of healing.”

Forgiveness isn’t about pretending something didn’t hurt. It’s not about excusing the behaviour or erasing the impact. It’s about releasing yourself from the weight of waiting… waiting for closure, waiting for accountability, waiting for someone else to give you permission to move forward.

Sometimes the closure you’re looking for won’t come from the person who hurt you.
Sometimes you become the closure.

✨ Happy 6 Years, Poe Holistic Health! ✨

6 years ago, I opened the doors to Poe Holistic Health with a vision to help people feel better, live better, and truly thrive.

My journey to get her looked like;

4 years of undergrad

2 years of MBA

10 years of double doctorate studies in Alternative and Naprapathic Medicine

2 years of Sexology studies

And a lot of successes AND failures and mistakes!!

Every late night, every exam, every ounce of energy I poured into my education and training brought me to this moment. I am beyond grateful for every patient and client, every lesson, and every milestone that has shaped Poe Holistic Health into what it is today. Just getting started over here…
