🩵I have to share this amazing story. We just met a new family...Jim and Carol. Jim is an amazing husband. His wife Carol has cancer and is also amazing. We are only helping him just enough for him to get some much needed and (my opinion) well deserved rest. Their love and devotion to each other is so obvious. Not only can you see it... you can feel it! Being there brings me to tears, happy for their bond, happy that they have each other, sad for her illness and his pain to see his love not well. Today on our real first visit. Carol must have noticed I had tears in my eyes. She grabbed my hand and asked if I needed anything. Then she kept holding my hand and just said, "you know we are both going to be ok." 😭 I had to take a picture because I wanted to share with my family and the girls. This is why we do this. These people have stolen my heart in just a few short days. This was such a great reminder of why we started this, Why these people are friends to us and not clients. All prayers for this amazing couple are welcome.
