Even as adults, there are immunizations you will need. Staying up-to-date on vaccinations is crucial for protecting individual health and the health of the community. Now is the perfect time to review your immunization status and discuss updates or new vaccinations with your doctor or advanced practice provider.

Here are the immunizations recommended throughout adulthood:
• Influenza every year
• Tetanus booster every 10 years
• 50 or older - shingles vaccine
• 65 or older - pneumonia vaccine

During National Assisted Living Week (Sept. 7–13), The Lodge invites community members to join staff, residents, and families for an Open House on Sunday, September 7 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
