We are proud to recognize Beth Morgan, RN, for her exceptional care and compassion. Beth and her family were honored with a Star Quilt in recognition of her care for a newborn delivered at Sidney Health Center in January 2026.
Sawyer Wayne Smoker, son of Clarice and Steve Smoker, was cared for by our Labor and Delivery team as he was prepared for transport to Billings for a higher level of care shortly after birth. Throughout this critical time, Beth’s skill, calm presence, and dedication helped ensure Sawyer was in the very best hands.
In February, Sawyer’s grandfather, Bruce Bauer, performed a meaningful Star Quilt Ceremony with several members of the OB staff present. During the heartfelt ceremony, Bruce recognized Beth for her bravery, courage, and extraordinary patient care, and shared the cultural significance of the Star Quilt as a symbol of honor, protection, and gratitude.
We are deeply grateful for Beth and our entire Labor and Delivery team, whose compassion and commitment make a difference for patients and families every day. 💜
