Our mission: We seek to serve the community by offering high quality programs for mental health and personal growth across the life span. We also offer professional training and support for others in the mental health community. We believe these skills offer many people what they need to function well and thrive in their lives, and others will find that learning and using such skills will prevent

suffering that comes from painful experiences in life. Choices Counseling & Skills Center has a three-pronged structure:

The DBT Center: We offer comprehensive outpatient programs for adults, adolescents and preteens utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition, we offer counseling and mental health services for individuals, couples and families. The Learning Center: With a focus on prevention, we offer classes and workshops for people at any age – child to senior citizen – to enhance social emotional learning and effectively manage transitions in life. The Professional Training Center: We provide continuing education for mental health professionals (BBS/PAT/BRN). Our staff can also customize courses to meet your specific needs or those of your professional team. Choices has been providing services throughout Southern California for more than 20 years. Our diverse experience includes clinical services, education and training, consultation and program implementation in both public and nonprofit organizations. We pride ourselves on being a resource in the community and have a long-standing commitment to “doing what works.”
