Please like and share! Our industry and all Equine related industries are in grave peril from animal rights activists!
By the middle of April, 2020, less than 180 days away, animal rights extremists will try to put a ballot initiative in front of California voters to end horse racing in the state of California. An initiative much like the the one that was passed to increase gas prices in California, and the one that put chicken farmers out of work, requiring all eggs to come from cage-free chickens.
They only need around 623,000 signatures to get it on the ballot, where 19 million California voters will decide the fate of a legacy and tradition they have only a tiny exposure to – one that has been largely negative as of late.
When the accidental fatalities at Santa Anita hit, right around the corner from a national media hub, the public began to question horse racing with intense scrutiny. California residents took note of the highly sensationalized media outlines that boosted click rates and topped headlines. Within only a matter of months, “horse racing death” plastered headlines across our nation, much to the delight of animal extremists.
These animal extremists know how to work, how to take advantage of a situation, how to ignore and avoid the positive headlines, and how to cash in.
Make no mistake, their goal is to “sterilize to extinction” all horses.
But who is standing up for horse racing?
Who is protecting this sport while the industry works through reforms?
Who is standing up for the horses?
You have a choice to make and you have to make it now: you either stand with horse racing, or you stand with the total extinction of a species.
