CVMC was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital in the outskirts of Sierra Vista. As the community grew, the hospital grew with it & in 2015 opened its doors to the 177,000 square foot and state-of-the-art facility we have today. CVMC is a Level III Trauma Center, received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and is a Pink Ribbon Facility for Breast Health Excellence featuring 3D Mammography.
