It's me, Misty! Let me introduce myself. 👋
I'm a Sierra Vista local, born on Fort Huachuca, graduated from Tombstone High School, and honestly? I've wanted to be a massage therapist since I was still in high school. Life had other plans for a while, but I finally got here.
In 2016 I was in a car accident that injured my back. That experience changed everything for me. Going through that recovery is where I really started understanding how connected the body is, how one thing affects another, how tension in one place shows up as pain somewhere else entirely. My injury didn't just heal me, it educated me.
After my son graduated and moved out, I finally had the space to step into the career I'd always wanted. Doing something to make myself proud rather than make the people around me proud. (And that was terrifying!) But here I am!!
I specialize in deep tissue, Swedish, and barefoot massage, but what matters most to me is meeting you where you are. Some weeks your body needs to be worked hard. Other weeks it needs something gentler. My job isn't to stick to a script, it's to listen to what your body actually needs that day and use whatever tools will serve you best.
That's the kind of massage therapist I am. And I'm so glad to be doing this work right here in the community I grew up in. 💙
