This is done by coordinating health care resources, as well as maximizing efficiency, effectiveness, and communication. SCM has developed this process based on the standards of the Case Management Society of America.

Summer is here — and so is the risk of heat-related illness. Whether you’re working outdoors, commuting, or just enjoying the sunshine, take steps to protect yourself and others:
🌞 Stay hydrated — drink water throughout the day.
🧢 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and a hat.
🕒 Take breaks in the shade or indoors, especially during peak afternoon heat.
🚨 Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke: dizziness, nausea, confusion, and heavy sweating are red flags.
