We all know someone who served.
And if we’re lucky, they made it home. 🇺🇸
But not everyone got that gift.
Today is for the ones who didn’t. 🕊️
Memorial Day isn’t about barbecues or beach trips. It’s about remembering the men and women who gave everything—their lives, their futures, their time with the people they loved—so the rest of us could live in freedom. 🪖
And while many are out today swimming, grilling, laughing in the sun…
There are families sitting at home right now with tears in their eyes.
There are parents lighting a candle beside a folded flag.
There are kids missing a mom or dad they’ll never get back and grow up with stories instead of hugs 😞
There are spouses who never got to grow old 💔think about their families.
The ones who still set a place at the table in their hearts. 💔
It’s heavy. And it should be.
Freedom has never been free.
It’s been paid for with blood, heartbreak, and unshakable courage. 🩸🎖️
To those who served and never made it home:
We remember you.
We honor you.
We are here because of you. 🤍
And to their families—thank you for your sacrifice, too. 🙏
We carry this day with reverence, not celebration.
With gratitude, not just tradition.
Happy Memorial Day—not because it’s happy, but because we’re blessed to be here, and we will never forget why. 🇺🇸🕯️.
I’m proud to be an American—and that pride carries weight. It’s not blind. It’s not shallow. It’s rooted in deep gratitude for those who gave everything. 🕊️🇺🇸
