📣 Let’s Talk Colorectal Cancer Screening 💙
Did you know colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. — but it’s often preventable with early screening?
🧾 Who Should Get Screened?
Adults age 45 and older (even without symptoms)
Anyone with a family history of colon cancer or polyps
People with chronic GI issues (like Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis)
✅ Screening Options Include:
Colonoscopy (every 10 years if normal): still the gold standard
Cologuard® test (every 3 years if normal): a non-invasive stool test
New Cologuard 2.0: now offers improved accuracy and fewer false positives compared to the original version
FIT or FOBT tests (yearly): detects hidden blood in the stool
📊 Why It Matters:
1 in 24 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in their lifetime
When caught early, it’s 90% curable
Many people have no symptoms until it’s advanced
💬 Early detection saves lives. If you’re due — or unsure — talk with us today. We can help you find the right test and get it scheduled.

👁️ Sudden vision changes? Don’t wait—get checked!
A sudden loss of vision, blurriness, or seeing flashes or floaters can be a sign of something serious like a stroke, retinal detachment, or eye injury. It’s not something to “wait and see”—it’s a medical emergency.
The sooner you get care, the better the chance of protecting your vision. When in doubt, get it checked out!
