Written by Authors: Sheelah Woodhouse, BScPT, updated by John Patrick Doriangricchia, DPT

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) can be a debilitating disorder. People to have had this condition have likely had treatment known as a Canalith Repositioning Maneuver (CRM) and is more commonly referred to as the "Epley Maneuver". Although this treatment is essential and can be an immediate relief of symptoms, many other factors need to be considered when evaluating this condition. Such factors can include which semi-circular canals are affected, as well as recurrency rates. Vestibular damage, as well as low Vitamin D3 can play a key role in the recurrency rates of this condition. At Missouri Delta ReBalance & Dizziness Center, our team takes consideration of these factors and not only do we play an active role in treating your condition but also doing our best to prevent your condition from returning.
