As many of you know, I moved from the St. Louis area to Southeast Missouri in November. I have been offering only telehealth video sessions since then, while we got settled.

I have moved my office to 717 Tanner Street in Sikeston, MO, and I am now officially open and accepting new clients for in-person sessions again. I will continue to offer telehealth as well as in-person counseling.

Barnabas is growing like a w**d! He turned 12 weeks old yesterday and gained 6 lbs in the 2 weeks since we got him. He now weighs 25 lbs.

He began puppy training classes last week and is now officially on his was to eventually becoming a therapy dog. He’s learning very quickly and is VERY food-motivated! 🤣😳
He has the best temperament and is a sweet little puppy.

We’ll, not really. Mommy brought me to hang out with her for a couple of hours between clients to keep me on my potty training schedule while Daddy took my brother to the doctor.

Meet Barnabas! (Barney)
He’s a 10-wk-old English Cream Golden Retriever.

He will begin puppy training and then continue training all the way through to become a certified Therapy Dog.

Eventually he will be in the office a few days each week. He’s a sweet little guy and should make a perfect therapy dog.

I will be offering groups starting in September. I’m working on the details to get them all posted. One will be a support group for individuals who have experienced traumatic loss. It’s important to have support of others who also have experienced traumatic loss. Either where you are or slightly ahead of you. The encouragement and understanding of a supportive community is important!
