Let’s hear it for our Star of the Month: Victoria! ⭐️
Her teammates unanimously voted her as the winner, especially after Victoria recently handled hundreds of calls on her own for the clinic. When we were without phones or internet for five days last month at Bootheel, Victoria swooped in, rerouted some things, and called clients from her remote Cape Small home office on a different phone line in a different town. ☎️ Talk about helping us find a solution! We honestly don’t know how we could have stayed open without her assistance during that frustrating outage. She also answered a multitude of clients’ emails and online requests from our website and app. She handled the extra work with a smile and ‘can-do’ attitude. The picture shows her at work in her remote office with her favorite office mate. 🐾 Victoria, you are a true team player, friend and kind person to all!

Dr. Katelyn is getting alllllll the lovin’! 🐾
We’d like to make an Appreciation Post for her. Dr. Katelyn has been filling in and helping our vet team weekly—between both our Sikeston and Cape vet clinics. In fact, we don’t know how we’d be able to treat all the patients we do, especially as SEMO continues to deal with the nationwide shortage of veterinarians. We’re grateful for her help and compassion to pets!

1:26 pm…7/7/25…PHONES RESTORED!

After five days since a crew cut lines near our clinic, we are up and running this Monday afternoon now. You may call and/or reach out to us online again.

We want to THANK OUR ENTIRE TEAM who worked hard to accommodate everyone. Some places would have closed down in situations like this, but we are here to help pets even in obstacles, right? 🙌 🐾

Here are our holiday hours at the vet clinic and pet pickup times at The Corral Boarding & Grooming.

-Please remember to keep your pets hydrated in the heat.
-We do not recommend taking dogs to watch fireworks.
-Remember to check all door locks and fences to be certain they’re secure. It’s a pet’s natural instinct to run when they’re afraid. 🧨

It appears a cable has been cut near our vet clinic, and it’s taken out our phones and internet!‼️ The crews haven’t specified when they can return services to us. We do have a remote receptionist, who can answer your emails and messages from our Pet Desk app during business hours today. Our online contact info is in the web link. You’re also welcome to just head to the clinic to reach us, especially if it’s an emergency situation. We appreciate everyone’s patience and grace during this frustrating ordeal, and we want to thank our entire team for continuing to make the best out of a challenging situation.

Make some noise for Mindy—our Star of the Month! 🌟🌟 She’s easygoing, friendly and always helpful. Mindy also makes it happen. For example, we had a sink that needed installed at the clinic. Before the plumber could even get here, Mindy figured out how to just put the sink in herself! That’s her— smart, resourceful and she has a great sense of humor. Basically, Mindy is the kind of coworker everyone enjoys working with!

We ♥️ Supporting LOCAL! We’re proud to be “Flash” McCoy’s veterinary team and even prouder to order lunch from his pet parents’ restaurant. Cafe is just up the road from us on Hwy. 61 and serves the BEST food and customer service. Be sure to go eat there or order catering! We’re glad we did. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
