We had hopes to possibly play this fall but with the latest surge of the virus sadly it would not be safe for our players, buddies, coaches, families and fans.

Challenger baseball and our families have lost too many loved ones and friends. We’re following guidance from the CDC and especially our doctors.

If you’ve reached a decision to get vaccinated and wear a mask, thank you. If you haven’t reached that point yet, please get as much information from your doctor and reliable medical professionals as you think you need, but do it quickly. We don’t want anyone else to get sick and we don’t want to lose anyone else.

Together we can make it safe enough for a whole lot of deserving players to finally hit the field again next spring!

I’m heartbroken. I just learned that one of our Challenger parents has passed away. Todd Young was 110% supportive of Challenger Baseball and all that we are trying to do for those with Special Needs. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations on a weekly basis. You will be missed sir. May God bless your family during this time.

We are proud to team with Sikeston First Assembly Of God as they bring the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine to our area! Volunteers are needed to make the event a huge success. We are looking for someone to volunteer to be Homer for our games the next 5 Saturday afternoons at 2pm. You will be anonymous and will have the opportunity to make a lot of kids smile. Games last about an hour and the suit is breathable.
