In 1933 Smith & Buckner Funeral Home was founded by T.L. Smith and Beman B. Buckner. Buckner’s son, Dalton K. Buckner Sr. eventually became part of the firm. The Buckner Family continued to own and operate the business until it was purchased by the Pugh Family, owners of Pugh Funeral Homes serving Asheboro, Randleman, and Troy NC in 1999.

As a family-owned funeral home, Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is able to provide the same compassionate care the people in the Siler City, NC area have come to expect. We provide complete funeral services for the families in our area, have a team of full-time funeral directors, and wonderful funeral assistants and staff members to support the families in our care.
