Can you believe yesterday marked a whole year since I hosted Mindless Motionz?!

When I say that event couldn’t have been any smoother? From the high school students that I hired, to the choreographers that I contracted, to the community resource representatives, to the friends who came out to support, to my family and loved ones who were by my side every single step of the way! I am so grateful that the event that took months to plan and coordinate happened without a single hitch and had a healthy impact on the community. 💎 Absolutely priceless!

Today is the EarthStrong (birthday) of BoboJohn, the bredren who loved to dance and was the inspiration for me to create this wellness event in his honor. May you continue to Ride In Peace! 🏍️❤️💛💚 🇹🇹

Lastly, thank you ! I was awarded a grant from Howard University to address mental and physical health disparities in DC’s Wards 7 & 8. Thank you, for funding and supporting my vision and work.

Just because its not you today, doesn’t mean it cant be you tomorrow. Or that it can’t be a loved one of yours. Don’t turn a blind eye! Our efforts are collective.

Let us not forget, this MLK weekend, Dr King stated, “Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere.”

While I wish nothing of the sort on anyone, we do acknowledge what is taking place, at only an arms length reach. We give tAnkhs for, and support our brother, leader, warrior, who dedicated his life for us and civil rights. 🔥 He is now 81 and has been wrongfully imprisoned for the past 24 years.

Please, join our efforts in getting him the medical treatment he deserves, as a HUMAN BEING.
