Our regional community doesn’t stop at conferences—it continues year-round through meaningful connection and conversation. In addition to gathering at ACHA, Sunbelt, and SCHA 2027 in Chattanooga, we host monthly virtual Coffee Chats open to colleagues across the region.

These informal sessions are a great space to exchange ideas, hear what’s happening on other campuses, and stay engaged with peers who are doing this work alongside you. Whether you’re looking to troubleshoot challenges, share wins, or simply stay connected, we’d love to have you join us.

We are proud of all Southern College Healthcare attendees who recently traveled to NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina to attend the 2026 Southern College Health Association (SCHA) Conference last week!

This year’s conference, expertly hosted by NC State University, was a highly successful three-day event focused on collaboration across disciplines, bringing together college health professionals committed to strengthening the well-being of campus communities. With educational sessions centered on mental health, medical education, health promotion, administrative strategy, nursing education, and nutrition, the conference provided innovative professional development opportunities designed to elevate the standard of care in higher education.

The primary goal of SCHA 2026 was clear: equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and cross-functional partnerships needed to enhance their impact. Attendees returned energized, inspired, and ready to continue advancing comprehensive, student-centered care across their campuses.
