Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required. An associate degree or at least two years of college is preferred.
1+ years’ experience in medical assisting at a medical/dental office is preferred.

Able to adhere to office policy and practice protocols.
Job Duties
Training is provided for ALL duties!
Answer incoming phone calls, schedule patient appointments.
Insurance prior-authorizations.
Initiate insurance benefits verification for durable medical equipment (DME) and/or other services we provide.
Sending patient statements and collecting balances.
Data entry into EMR.
Ensure the reception area is well-maintained and clean.
Process medical record requests.
Comply with HIPAA regulations.
Complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Type & Pay
Part-time (32-35 hrs/week) with the potential to grow into a full-time position 36-40 hours/week).
$16/ hour.
Bi-weekly pay.
