مواليد العراق بغداد ١٩٣٢
• وتخرج من الكلية الطبية الملكية العراقية في بغداد سنة 1955.
• خدم كطبيب عسكري في الجيش العراقي وعمل في مختلف الوحدات الطبية وألوية العراق.
• تدرج في الخدمة حتى تعين كرئيس قسم الباطنية في مستشفى الرشيد العسكري بالإضافة إلى كونه طبيباً أقدم في فرع الطب.
• في سنة 1959 تنسب للعمل في المستشفى الجمهوري في وحدة الدكتور شوكت الدهان وثم الدكتور محمود الجليلي.
• حصل على شهادة عضوية ومن ثم زميل في كلية الأطباء الملكية (FRCP) في أدنبرة.
• عاد إلى الوطن وفي سنة 1964 أنتقل للعمل في جامعة بغداد حيث تعين معاون عميد كلية طب الموصل.
• حصل على تدريب في مستشفيات الولايات المتحدة في فرع الطب والقلبية في سنة 1967-1968.
• تدرج في الملاك التدريسي في الكلية الطبية في بغداد حيث حصل على رتبة استاذ في الطب في الكلية الطبية حيث ساهم في تدريس طلبة الكلية الطبية بالإضافة إلى طلبة الشهادات العليا ما بين سنة 1978-1991.
• عين استاذ في الطب في كلية العلوم في الأردن ما بين سنة 1991-1994.
• قدم أكثر من خمس وعشرون بحثاً طبياً حيث نشرت في مختلف المجلات الطبية
له الفضل في تاسيس وحدة الفحص بالموجات فوق الصوتية Ultrasound وشعب الكلية الصناعية Haemodialysis في العراق بالإضافة إلى تصميم طريقة لعلاج التسمم بمركبات الزئبق العضوية.

وأقيم في لندن
وتوفي هناك ٢٠٢٥

In all the Posts I held in the UK, NHS Hospitsls, between 1994 -2000, Teaching
Undergraduates and Resident Staff was an integral part of the Post.
Special Experience
Experience in Ultrasound: My first encounter with ultrasound was in 1963
at Lund,
University. Sweden, where Prof. Edler (at whose Department of Cardiology I
was a fellow), and Prof Hertz, the Bioengineer, pioneered Echocardiography. On
recommendation by Prof. Edler, I joined, in 67/68, Prof. J. Holmes Group (who
pioneered 2D Ultrasound Exam.) at the Ultrasound Lab., Colo. University. The
experience gained in these centers helped me establish an Ultrasound Service
& Teaching Unit, the then seventh in the world, at my University, on my return.
Experience in Renal Diseases and Dialysis: The Renal Division at the
Colo. University, ( where I served as a Fellow) had one of the highest
patients
` turnover, especially in Renal Transplantation. The significant
experience I gained there helped me, establish, on my return, a Teaching &
Service renal Unit, the first in the country It was in this unit that we spotted one
of the World’s largest outbreak of Organic Hg-Poisoning and designed a novel
method of treatment (Gillman & Goodman Pharmacological Basis of Therapy,
Ed.2000.
Experience in Trans-cultural Medicine: I practiced and taught medicine in
several countries; Middle East countries, Sweden, UK, Ireland and the US. I am
well informed of the different ethnics
