I think we are all familiar with the story of Hänzel and Gretel., a Grimms Brothers fairy tale, in which the children ( Hänzel and Gretel) become Lost in the woods with nothing to eat when at last they happen upon a “Gingerbread House”. Of course they are drawn to this amazing little house, and as Hänzel ( the little boy) takes a bit of gingerbread to eat, the wicked witch, who poses as a sweet old lady, calls out;”who is that nibbling at my house?”… the children are startled, but when the old woman ( wicked witch) shows herself and invites the children inside to have some food, they comply. As time goes on, as the woman attempts to “fatten them up for the kill”!, the children now become aware of their fate….
So the correlation here is that we all are like these innocent children, drawn to the beauty and excitement of this dimension. Hoping we will have some satisfaction….just ever wishing for someone to love us, for some kindness. And after being fattened-up, kicked around and ready for “the kill”, we might realize that we made a big mistake!! By trusting outside circumstances, instead of trusting ourselves….
The end of the story, BTW, is classic, in that the children “ work together” to capture the witch in her own snare!!
The lesson here is of course that it is imperative that we learn to trust in our selves, to know ourselves, and to work together if we are to navigate this world to our own advantage.

Today, I’m a bit concerned about the volcanos happening in our world …. Who ever thought we would see the day that this kind of chaos abounds? And yet here we are!… one way to view these earth changes is that new and valuable land is being created. Of course it will take years to be able to utilize it… land and soil being rejuvenated right before our eyes., and isn’t that what many of us wanted?!?
These are only material plane concerns, which although important, not the end of the equation. There are elements of our being, unbeknownst to us which are equally compelling… luring us to find out more…. A special unfolding of amazing life, both internally and externally. And actually, isn’t it contingent on each one of us to find out for ourselves just how that happens?

Now we can all see and feel the Fall season upon us…Even though beautiful to watch, trees changing their “clothing” can be a SAD season as the precious light diminishes. Therefore, do not forget to take vitamin D3/K2 ( as the synergistic combo. Play a role in calcium metabolism…. Just getting ready to harvest the last of the cherry tomatoes ( they were planted too late) and the butternut squash…please stay in touch!

Healing and nutritious figs are now ripening on our property. This amazing tree is surprisingly productive at this time, and has given us a bounty of succulent fruit that is nourishing our bodies and supplementing our diets. I have noted that the fig is a wonder gift from nature with a delicious taste, juicy texture, and the benefit of relieving emotional torments and helping to reduce feelings of animosity. Many of you know about my interest in nutrition from world-renowned author Anthony William (?the Medical Medium)… According to him:” When we consume figs, they promote metaphysical balance between our head and gut.”.. How powerful is that statement?
If you arrange for a session in the next few weeks, I’ll be sure to pass along a taste so you can experience this magic fruit for yourself.

Yesterday I had the sublime and glorious opportunity to soak in beautiful mineral spring waters…. It was a short 1/2 hour soak, but I emerged an entirely new person…. How is that even possible? Sometimes Epsom salts come close to being wonderful, and certainly if that is the only possibility, then for sure, that is a boon! Just know, however, that if you find yourself close to a natural mineral hot spring, you will definitely not regret taking time for a soak!

I’m writing today to let all of you know that I’m thinking about you, and am looking forward to hearing from you again.... How strange and different and emotionally charged is the environment these days? So much change in such a short timeframe!! Our collective heightened sensitivity seems to contain an ‘edge’, a message, definitive influences. I’m not sure how many of you perceived this change. It seems to me that the experience of our awakening is so alien from whatever I could have imagined....
I’m witnessing distressful, and fearful events along side apparently wildly beautiful interludes. It all likely hinges on one’s perceptions.

Any number of reasons I enjoy my profession, firstly, I like people! For over 25 years, I've been able to work with some of the best people one can imagine, and I always lest new things...because all of us are riding on a different wave...this new wave of consciousness now surrounding our planet brings a dimension of harmony and understanding. I know it does not seem that way, with all we are exposed to and bombarded with. But in truth, the many lessons we learn in one lifetime are invaluable to our growth. Change is difficult, yet is a constant... this brings me to the second reason I enjoy operating in my capacity as a massage therapist. I have been a witness to the changes and growth in so many of my clients. After an awesome massage session, one feels more focused with a renewed awareness. There is a "letting go". ... to me it is an amazing transformation to witness.
Thirdly, I have become confidant in my work, which brings a clearer grasp on how I practice. It does not matter what modality I incorporate, it seems that the timing and precise efforts contribute towards the goal of balance for each individual session.

I have known this to be accurate!
Massage therapy does reduce pain, address anxiety ( particularly with the use of essential oils) and clear undue fatigue because therapeutic massage is allowing the body to detox!

Recent studies reinforce evidence for the efficacy of massage therapy for pain, fatigue and anxiety, which millions of Americans are experiencing.
