Silver Spring Pediatrics We are a group of pediatricians dedicated to providing the best of care for children of all ages.

Our office offers well child care, immunizations and the latest in treatment and advice for childhood and adolescent illnesses. We take a special interest in care of the newborn, breastfeeding, child development and behavior. Asthma, allergies, common infections and ADHD are some of our areas of interest.

It was perfect weather this weekend for the first drive thru flu clinic of the season. Don’t worry if you missed it because there will be another one on Saturday, October 18th from 9am-12pm by appointment only. The last drive thru clinic will be in November. There’s always the option to get it in the office if you can’t make it on a weekend.

Introducing Dr. Keren Muller….

Dr. Muller graduated from Princeton University with a degree in molecular biology. She received her medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. She completed her pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

She will join SSP after 7 years in private practice in Montgomery County. She lives in Silver Spring with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and playing board games.

In a statement released today, AAP President Dr. Sue Kressly expresses concern about the potential impact of a newly released report on transgender and gender-diverse youth.

The report does not reflect the full scope of medical evidence, misrepresents AAP policy, and excludes input from pediatric experts. “Patients, their families, and their physicians—not politicians or government officials —should be the ones to make decisions together about what care is best for them based on evidence-based, age-appropriate care.”
