Thank you to all the amazing caregivers who joined us yesterday. A huge shoutout to our incredible guest speaker, Pamela Mills, MA, CMC, CADDCT-CDCM Associate Director of Care Management; Corewood Care, for sharing powerful insights on caregiver burden and family dynamics, and for taking the time to thoughtfully answer every question.

We celebrated Independence Day surrounded by love, laughter, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue — and it was a perfect day for it! 🇺🇸☀️

From sizzling BBQ to delicious homemade salads, fresh fruit, and a spread of delicious sides - this celebration was made even more special by YOU!

Huge thanks to Amy for the cracker and cheese appetizer and dessert, Terri for the cucumber salad, and Barbara for the watermelon!

🌧️ Despite the Storm, Our First Support Group Meeting Was a Success! 🌟

Yesterday marked the beginning of something truly meaningful—our first Dementia Caregivers Support Group Meeting. Even with the heavy storm and traffic delays, we were blessed with a strong turnout and a room full of heart and hope.

We broke the ice with warm introductions, shared stories, and made space for everyone to feel seen and heard.

For those who couldn’t make it due to the weather—we missed you and truly appreciate the messages you sent. Your presence was felt.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guest speaker, Dr. Amy Schiffman, for her powerful and informative session on Medicare 101.

She not only shared her expertise but also opened the floor to a valuable Q&A session that many found helpful.
