My word for 2026: Intentional.

HERE WE GO!

Intentional about how I build.
Intentional about who I serve.
Intentional about why this work matters.

This year, I’m building my coaching practice for midlife women—because strength isn’t just physical, and this season of life asks for more than “push through it.”
We want to feel strong, seen, and heard.
We want to trust our bodies again.

My position is deeply felt - I'm not just hopping on the next wave of social media trends:

I guide women navigating perimenopause and menopause to restore trust in their bodies through embodied movement, nervous system support, and informed self-leadership—so they can move, rest, and live with clarity, strength, and agency.

Less noise. More meaning.
Intentional.

Are you ready to join me as I shape this path? What's your word?

“You’re not imposing your will on your body. You’re in conversation with it. You use the resistance as a gateway to go more deeply into the pose.”
Judith Hanson Lasater.
A gratitude post; we explored and practiced presence - a wonderful way to start the year. Thank you for your attention, awareness and heart!

What will I say no to in 2026?

Midlife has taught me to scan my life the way I scan my body in movement—noticing patterns, habits, and postures that once made sense… but now quietly drain me.

So I’m auditing:
The rushed yeses.
The background stress I’ve normalized.
The habits that keep me busy but not nourished.

Saying no isn’t about limitation.
It’s how we create space for what steadies us, strengthens us, and actually supports our nervous system.

Awareness comes first.
Choice follows.

What will you say no to in 2026? How do you choose what works and what doesn't?

We spend alot of energy trying to reduce stress—
changing schedules, avoiding discomfort, pushing through fatigue.

But at midlife, the real shift often isn’t less stress.
It's greater capacity.

Stress tolerance is your body’s ability to meet a challenge without tipping into overwhelm.

And the good news? It’s trainable.

Through mindful strength, breath, and nervous-system aware movement, we don’t just calm ourselves—we build resilience that lasts.

✨ What would you wish for: less stress, or a steadier system?

I’ll be honest: slowing down has never come easily to me.

So I understand how uncomfortable it all can feel.

There’s a part of me that still equates momentum with worth, effort with legitimacy, exhaustion with “doing enough.”

So when life—or my body—asks for a slower pace, I notice the resistance first.
The doubt.
The feeling of being undeserving or unsure of what comes next.

And yet, this season keeps teaching me the same thing:
Rest isn’t a reward you earn after pushing through.
It’s a skill you practice when your system is asking for care.

Midlife has a way of making that lesson unavoidable—if we listen.

This is your permission slip to slow down today.

The Winter Solstice is more than just the longest night of the year; it's an invitation to root deeper, rest, embrace the darkness, and honor the ancient rhythm of all things. It's a turning point . . . .

Enjoy the quiet magic and unfolding.

If you feel like rest is lazy, or you don't have time for it, this is your invitation to listen deeply. Don't be afraid... let the rhythm be different and trust the unfolding.

Peace, peace, peace . . . .

Stiff, achy shoulders don’t just limit how you move—
they quietly limit how you breathe.

When the shoulders, neck, and upper ribs get locked into our daily habits
(screens, chairs, stress… modern life)
the breath has fewer places to go.
So it gets shallow. Effortful. A little stuck.

This is an excerpt from a recent class all about our shoulders: seated shoulder movements are less about stretching hard
and more about changing patterns.

Core gently on for support.
Neck long and decompressed.
Shoulder blades sliding and tilting back into a position where they can actually help you.

Nothing fancy. Just attentive, consistent movement that reminds your body it has options.

Small shifts, practiced often, are how we move—and breathe—better over time.

Not a number. Not a dress size. 💃

But steady energy. Clear focus. A body that feels strong, calm, and capable.

Midlife isn’t about fixing what’s broken.

It’s about learning how to support a system that’s changing—and doing it with intention, not force.

I share movement, strength, and nervous-system-smart tools for exactly this season of life in my newsletter.
If you're imagining strong, steady, and regulated, you’re already in the right place ✨
