The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek for "woman who serves." As a doula, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support for women and their partners through pregnancy and birth. I believe that birth is a journey, and each woman should feel empowered to choose her own path. She should be able to feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged to do what her body was created to do. Wi

th a background in Public Health, I also believe very strongly in knowledge and education. I believe in teaching my mom's and their partners about their bodies, babies, and what to expect. First you Love your baby that is coming, then you get to Learn all about them, and after that journey of pregnancy, you get a new Life to continue to love and learn from for the rest of time.
